This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use Robo Para-Pro. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Robo Para-Pro is designed to minimize data collection. We collect and process only the information necessary to provide our AI-powered educator assistant services:

What we do NOT collect: We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, location data, contacts, photos, browsing history, or any other personally identifiable information (PII) unless you voluntarily type it into a chat message.
Your chat messages are used solely to generate contextual AI responses within your active conversation session. Specifically:
• AI Response Generation: Text and voice inputs are processed to provide classroom support, lesson planning, behavioral analytics, and other educator tools.
• Conversation History: Message history is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage to allow session continuity. You can clear this data at any time via the in-app Reset function.
We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the core AI assistant functionality.
To deliver its intelligent assistant capabilities, Robo Para-Pro transmits the text you type (and voice-to-text transcriptions) to third-party AI language model providers for real-time response generation:

No hidden metadata is transmitted — we do not send your device ID, IP address, or other identifiers alongside your chat messages. These providers process your queries ephemerally and do not use your data to train their foundational models.
Local Storage: Chat messages and session preferences are stored on your device only. They persist until you explicitly clear them using the in-app "Reset" button or uninstall the application.
Server-Side Processing: All AI processing is ephemeral. Your messages are not retained on our servers or the servers of our AI providers after your response has been generated and delivered.
Your Right to Delete: You can delete all locally stored data at any time through the app's Reset Session feature. Uninstalling the app removes all local data permanently.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
• All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• Local data is stored using the platform's native secure storage mechanisms.
• No centralized user database exists — your data stays on your device.
While we take every reasonable precaution, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Robo Para-Pro is designed as a professional tool for educators (teachers and paraprofessionals) and is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.
Robo Para-Pro is designed with FERPA compliance in mind. The App does not access, store, or process student educational records. Any student-related information that an educator may reference in chat conversations is processed ephemerally and is never stored on our servers or shared with third parties for any purpose beyond generating the requested AI response.
Robo Para-Pro requests the following device permissions:

You can revoke microphone access at any time through your device settings. The app will continue to function via text input.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
